India’s first Commercial Disputes Resolution Centre open in Chattisgarh
Country’s first Commercial Court and
Commercial Disputes Resolution Centre has been inaugurated today at
Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh
along with Supreme Court judge Madan B. Lokur dedicated to the people
the Commercial Court complex in Naya Raipur.

The complex has ultra-modern facilities
like Video-conferencing, E-Court, E-Library, E-Filing and E-Summons.
Addressing the inaugural function, Chief minister said the establishment
of the nation’s first Commercial Court and Commercial Disputes’
Resolution Centre will help the investors and business world.
Chief Minister said that ultra-modern
facilities available at the court will facilitate the investors in their
commercial dealings.
Supreme Court Judge Madan B.Lokur said
the Commercial Court will help in improving the judicial system. He said
that Chief Justice of India had expressed the desire that every State
should have Commercial Courts and Commercial Disputes’ Resolution
Centers.
Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court
Deepak Gupta and Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Mr. Naveen Sinha
were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
